Peugeot S.A.. The Group's principal activities are the manufacture and sale of automobiles and other vehicles under the Peugeot and Citroen names, including petrol, diesel and electric passenger and light commercial vehicles, as well as the manufacture of vehicle components and after sales service. Other activities include the manufacture and distribution of automobile equipment and accessories, the transportation of vehicles both directly and as a forwarding agent and the sale of retail financing of Group vehicles in Europe. The Group also manufactures motorbikes, scooters and hydraulic engines for the automobile and aeronautical industries. Car manufacture accounted for 80% of 2001 revenues; car equipment, 14%; financing, 3%; transport, 2% and other, 1%.
