CareAdvantage, Inc.. The Group's principal activities are to provide management and health care cost containment services to health care insurers and other health service organizations. The management services include care management program enhancement services, executive and clinical management services and training programs. The health care cost containment services include utilization review in medical/surgical cases where pre-authorization is required for hospitalization and for certain in-patient and outpatient procedures, case management and disease management. The Group maintains a contracted network of more than 112 independent, multi-specialty physician advisors. The services are provided to five Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations in the Northeastern United States and to two integrated health care delivery systems. The subsidiaries of the Group are CareAdvantage Health Systems, Inc and Contemporary Health Care Management, Inc.
