In addition, Riedel-de Haen manufactures technical preservation chemicals (MERGAL), luminescent & security coding pigments (LUMILUX and LUMIPUR), photographic color pigments (PINA), process chemicals for the semi-conductor manufacturing industry (PURANAL, MOS-PURANAL, VLSI-PURANAL, ULSI-PURANAL and SLSI-PURANAL), and prescription pharmaceuticals (mainly the antiseptic RIVANOL). The company has solely domestic subsidiaries. Manufacture and sale of inorganic chemicals (including process chemicals for semi-conductor manufacturing) accounted for 40% of 1995 revenues; organic chemicals, 17%; specialised chemicals 42% and other, 1%.
