AGA AB is one of the world's largest gas companies, which manufactures and markets gases and services to industrial, medical and specialty gas markets in some forty countries in Europe, Latin America and the USA. The company's main products include oxygen, nitrogen and argon. The fuel gases acetylene and propane, as well as hydrogen, carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide, are other important products. Other operations include the sale of welding equipment. Trademarks include MISON, ACCURA, CIRRUS, HiQ, CUMULUS, BIOPUSTER, ATMOFRY, LASER LINE, MAPAX, RAPID PROCESSING and TOOLVAC. In 1999, Linde AG acquired 99.5% of the AGA group. Sale of industrial gases accounted for 85% of 1999 revenues and gases used within health care, 15%.
